Immigrants and Their Offsprings

This article relates to our class discussions because of the Roy Model. Students are better off or gain more utility if they exclude their Asian identity when applying for college. This is can be related to moving to a new country and seeing if you have an absolute gain or a slight gain in utility. Those who have a high math score on the SATs have a lower incentive to exclude their Asian identity than those with low math scores on their standardized tests.
