Chinese growth - Now and Future

http://www.economywatch.com/world_economy/china/?page=full

After talking about the US and India, I guess it only seems right that China is next on the list. This article goes into the growth of China (in terms of GDP) and the population growth we witness as of today. It says most analysts predict that China will be the largest economy in the world this century but the GDP per capita is around 2000 today (making it one of the “poorer” countries of the world). The 1970s and 1980s for China were a series of economic policies that were implemented to transform agriculture from farming to household activities. Larger and freer enterprise was given to businesses, as the tremendous growth witnessed is part due to government and market forces. I wonder what is going to happen next.
