Executive Pay on Wall Street

This article from the New York Times states that even as President Obama’s administration has looked for ways to curb executive pay, compensation has continued to rise. One survey showed that while cash bonuses dropped, overall compensation rose 6% on Wall Street. These numbers are predicted to fall significantly, especially within trading and investment banking, due to the current struggling state of Wall Street this year, but they still raise questions of executive pay and follow the trend of the correlation between firm size and pay.
