Unemployment Lowest In 3 Years

On Dec. 2, the Labor Department reported that the unemployment rate fell to 8.6%, the lowest since March 2009. The decline in unemployment can be explained by a combination of Americans getting more jobs and people giving up on their job searches altogether. However, celebrating the decline would be a bit naive due to people entering and leaving the workforce.
