North Mexico wilts under worst drought on record

Mexico has been experiencing its worst drought period since 1941. This is demonstrating the severe effects that geographical influence can have on a country or region's economic prosperity. Due to the obscenely low amount of rainfall, prices on all things farming related have been wittled down incredibly. This is expected to persist throughout the winter, a season in which times are already tough for those in the agricultural industry. The government is attempting to provide financial and labor assistance but institutional guidance can only provide so much help.
